Gov. Kathy Hochul visited The Green at Gardiner’s Point—GGV and East Hampton Housing Authority’s new affordable housing development in East Hampton on Friday. East Hampton became the first Suffolk County municipality to receive the state's pro-housing community program designation, and can receive a portion of up to $650 million in state discretionary funding for economic development.

Newsday reported on East Hampton’s The Green at Gardiner’s Point—created by Georgica Green Ventures with the East Hampton Housing Authority. The development is nearing completion of its 50 units which range from 1-3 bedroom apartments. Applications for the housing lottery are due on July 20.
